Choosing the handcrafted pottery method, Yên Lam focuses on quality and beauty rather than quantity. Along this journey, we have encountered customers who share the same values, even if they work with different materials. In 2024, Yên Lam had the opportunity to create handcrafted bowls and plates for Upstairs. Based on our initial ideas, the artisan pottery by Yên Lam is now ready for display in the Upstairs Tasting Room.

His journey is one of seeking to connect with his roots, always infused with sincerity and a desire to make meaningful contributions. Each dish at Upstairs Tasting Room celebrates traditional heritage and contemporary artistry, transforming your experience into a cultural adventure unbound by any definitions or rules.

Carefully selected and attended to in every detail, Chef Hiệp and the Upstairs team aim to provide you with a culinary journey through the flavours of each dish and the aesthetic beauty in the presentation using materials like ceramics, wood, lacquer, and metal. There is much more that contributes to the elegant yet rustic atmosphere of Upstairs.

Those pictures were captured by Yen Lam Pottery team when the products had just been removed from the kiln. This is how our products look without any retouch, showing clearly the shape, colour and material of our products.

We perform any orders with a clear process starting with a demand discussion with the client to provide a sample test, and ending with a shipment to the requested place. Besides, we are always ready to listen to any feedback or special requirements from the client to serve them as soon as possible.
